Chicago, IL, United States (AHN) – Cavs All-Star LeBron James is reportedly leaning toward joining the Chicago Bulls, along with another free agent Chris Bosh of the Raptors.

According to a report by the New York Times.com, citing a source, the Bulls may be the front-runners in the sweepstakes for the two-time reigning NBA MVP.

The Times report indicated that it was “a done deal”, but James will still meet with some of the teams, including the Bulls, Cavaliers, Knicks, Clippers, Nets and Heat, once free agency starts.

Meanwhile, James’ friend and business partner Maverick Carter told ESPN The Magazine that the six-time NBA All-Star will be having would-be suitors visit him in his native Ohio.

In the event, James lands in Chicago to follow in the footsteps of his idol Michael Jordan, the Bulls would have a formidable core in James, Bosh, along with Joakim Noah and Derrick Rose.

The 25-year-old James has been playing exclusively for the Cavaliers for the past seven years, but has yet to win an NBA championship.
